A statistically significant increase of the level of viral antibodies in patients with recurrent, locally advanced bladder cancer with high potential of malignancy; the statistically significant correlations between the presence of viral DNA cytomegalovirus and Epstein-Barr virus in the tumor and the level of antibodies, the stage of the process and recurrent nature of the tumor were found. The presence of viral DNA in the tumor was determined in 30% of cases.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье рассматриваются основные механизмы латенции некоторых герпес-вирусов и роль персистенции этих вирусов в онкогенезе. Выявлено статистически достоверное повышение уровня вирусных антител у больных рецидивным, местно-распространенным раком мочевого пузыря высокого потенциала злокачественности; статистически значимые коррелятивные связи между наличием вирусных ДНК цитомегаловируса и вируса Эпштейна-Барр в опухоли, уровнем их антител, стадией процесса и рецидивным характером опухоли.
