Numerous studies, concerning the radicality of this surgery, demonstrate the safety of the procedure in strictly selected patients. We have been describing the main variants of surgical approaches and modern understanding of nipple-areolar complex perfusion in the article.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В обзорной статье приведены данные исторической эволюции хирургии молочной железы, а также современный взгляд на возможности ее реконструкции при выполнении мастэктомии. многочисленные исследования радикальности данной операции указывают на ее безопасность при строгом отборе пациентов. Перечислены основные типы хирургических доступов, и показано современное представление о кровоснабжении сосково-ареолярного комплекса.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>breast surgery</kwd><kwd>mastectomy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>хирургия молочной железы</kwd><kwd>мастэктомия</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Давыдов М.И., Аксель Е.М.
